The original fuel system ECU that was fitted to Volvo 850 Turbo models was Motronic version 4.3 and while it was a good fuel system Motronic 4.4 is much better. We've created a 100% plug and play M4.4 conversion that's compatible with 850 >models. The M4.4 conversion is not only a faster ECU with higher map resolution which means better fuel and timing control for more power, but it also provides all kinds of additional features that M4.3 doesn't handle as well. Specifically for those who want to convert their automatic 850 turbo to a manual transmission AND need OBDII compliance M4.4conversion is the only way to go. M4.4 also allows for more precise control of larger injectors and the ability to remove check engine light codes for cat-less cars or cars with SAS removed. If your 850 has been converted to manual, has larger injectors, or needs CEL deletes M4.4 is for you!
