This MXR Chorus pedal is glorious. Eddie Van Halen wasn't a fan of chorusing at all in the early 80s, and he used pitch shifting and flanging wizardry to come up w a chorus effect that he liked. Jim Dunlop has said that "this pedal was the chorus pedal for players that didn't like chorus pedals." Ha! He also said the pedal's design was taken from an old Roland DC-30 echo/chorus unit that Ed used during the Diver Down Tour in 1982-83 for Pretty Woman.
Check out Pete Thorn's EVH CHORUS vid on YouTube. Really cool.

See pic #3 above. Those are the settings for Pretty Woman.
Pic #4 is the Internal Bypass Switch for True Bypass or Buffered Bypass. Your choice. Nice...
    RIP Eddie Van Halen. G.O.A.T.
Enjoy this chorus! Will be permanent on your board or studio set-up.
