The
MPM-1000 from Marantz Professional is a cardioid condenser microphone
with a pure-aluminum-plated, 18mm-diameter diaphragm capsule that captures audio in high-quality critical recording applications. It can be used by engineers, musicians, and producers in environments such as recording studios, for live stage, in project studios, and more.
The microphone is great for recording closely spaced subjects by maintaining a good degree of isolation, and is also an excellent choice for recording live performances when sound comes from many directions. The tightly defined pattern preserves excellent isolation and prevents unwanted feedback. The package comes complete with windscreen, shockmount, tripod stand, and an XLR cable.
