Luo Pan Chinese Leather Case Astrological Compass

Nice antique Chinese traditional Luo Pan Astrological Compass. Red leather case with symbol of silk moth on each corner of top cover. I believe this is a 20th century reproduction of earlier 18th century compass.
Technical information: the luo pan in A. S chuck’s book “Der Kompass” volume 2, 1915. for example, the first of the concentric circles surrounding the compass, the eight basic directions, are represented by three line symbols called Trigrams or Kua of Fu Xhi.
Dimensions: approximately 5 1/2”(x) 6 1/2” (x) 1 3/4” inches.
Condition: used. Black and white ying/yang corner emblem missing. Wear to leather vase. Aged parts. Wear to top cover corners and to leather hinge. Overall good in my opinion.
