Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water, Brand New. Taking a fairly ordinary concept in effects, namely chorus/vibrato, and tearing any previous conventionality out of it, the Shallow Water utilizes K-Field Modulation to detune the delay line, providing a randomized pitch variance controllable via the RANGE & DAMP knobs. Then, that gets sent into a low pass filter, controlled by an envelope follower circuit, providing a rich, lo-fi texture to the wild (or mild!) modulation. Despite being called the Shallow Water, it's easy to float along in this sea of unpredictable modulation.
