Antique Sawankhalok Period Cylindrical Brass Bell from Thailand

Description

This is a rustic Antique Sawankhalok Period Cylindrical Bell from Thailand.  This nicely incised piece with a deep gold hue was purchased by my American expatriate father in Bangkok in the early 1970's during one of his regional buying trips when he owned an antique shop in Penang Malaysia.  The bell was meant to strung on a cord or chain and is quite heavy.
Bell Dimensions: 1 5/8 inches wide and 6 1/4 inches long.  Weight: 15.4 ounces (437 grams)
