Antique Bronze? Brass? Chinese? Rooster? Chicken? Cock? Door Stop

This is what I believe to be an antique Chinese door stop. Have seen similar pieces of similar design designated as such. This is from a very lovely estate in Northern Vermont and is up for grabs. Measures about 4 3/4" tall and weighs a bit over 3.5lbs. Not sure if it is brass or bronze but it does not show rust but only oxidation and a nice patina. Unfortunately the beak is broken off but it still functions as it should and presents well. Nice, unique piece. What you see is what you get. Check out our other listings for more antique pieces.
